Spots and Dots!

I couldn't help but pair my new spotted shoes (incredibly comfortable and under $25!!!) with a polka dotted scarf. Because the rest of the outfit was solid, the spots and dots didn't seem as overwhelming. While pink leather is not what I would think of as versatile, this jacket is one of my favorites! The light pink color has been a great addition to my otherwise traditional cream and black jacket collection and because its a subtle color, it actually acts as a neutral.   

As for the long sleeved James Perse shirt, this is probably the most comfortable, well-fitting t-shirt I own. I'm not one to spend much more than $15 on plain long-sleeved or short-sleeved t-shirts. White ones turn yellow and and black ones fade, so I usually I buy them cheap and replace them yearly. I was eyeing James Perse shirts every time I was in Nordstrom because they are so soft, but at over $50 a shirt, it was more than I was willing to spend. I wouldn't even tempt myself and try one on. When I saw this one at the Rack, I had to slip and on, and as I expected, I was sold! The V-neck cut in front and shirt-tail hem are little details that help make this my new favorite t-shirt!

By the way, aren't the fall decorations at my parent's house cute! Just looking at them puts me in the mood for fall! Nice job Mom! Hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween if you're celebrating this weekend!
