Apparently I've had plaid on my mind lately. I fell in love with this pin a few months back and while I'm still not excited about cooler weather, I couldn't wait to put my own spin on the plaid/chambray, double button down, leather jacket combo! That's a mouthful! I love the edgy vibe black leather gives in the pin, but unfortunately, I haven't fallen in love with a "reasonably priced" black leather jacket over the past few years, so I don't own one (if anyone has a good suggestion, please let me know). I felt like the light tan leather and booties kept some of the edge, but softened the whole thing up a bit. What do you think?

These photos were taken at Round Barn Winery was the first night of our relaxing Michigan weekend. This outfit was perfectly comfortable for the long drive from Illinois State University to Michigan. I knew we would be going from the car to wine tasting and dinner, and, outside of me looking incredibly tired, the button downs made me feel pulled together, even after a day on the road.

Thanks for reading!

    1. Thanks Nancy! It would be inspired by Blair, of course! I love her. It wasn't linked back to her blog so thank you for helping me figure it out!
