Happy Halloween Everyone!! Sorry I'm not wearing a spooktacular outfit today! I was only able to fit in night photos over the past week...and even the ones by the spirited orange fountain in Daley Plaza just weren't up to par! Instead, we'll continue my Michigan outfit recap.

On day two of our Michigan weekend we went to the Warren Dunes State Park. I was expecting gorgeous fall colored leaves on trees shading hiking trails...not 100 foot high sand hills overlooking Lake Michigan in addition to the gorgeous leaves! It really was quite an unexpected, beautiful treat! Clearly, I was not expecting to hike through sand in this outfit (though, wedges do get through sand pretty well). After taking advantage of the great photo backdrop, I swapped my wedge booties for tennis shoes and my leather jacket for a warm hoodie before climbing up a giant sand dune. After out hike, we cleaned the sand off our feet and heading to several more wineries for a relaxing day of wine tasting.
