As I've gotten older, my going-out wardrobe has become more of a remix of my work wear.  Although I still have a closet full of mini dresses that I refuse to get rid of (you never know when the occasion will call for one), throwing a low cut tank (or sheer blouse) under a blazer seems to be my go-to for dinner or drinks now. Add a statement necklace, an evening clutch, and some sparkly arm candy, and I'm out the door.  

While I would have preferred a sleek pair of pointed toe black pumps, we have had lots of freezing rain recently and I sacrificed fashion for warm feet! I know, how could I do such a thing?!  As I've said recently on here, Chicago weather often dictates what I wear. Nights out are no exception. I can't have fun if I'm just thinking about how cold I am - shivering just isn't sexy!
