Before we headed home from our Dells Labor Day weekend trip, we stopped by Fawn Creek Winery.  Its about 25 minutes north of the downtown Dells. As you can see from the above photos, we spent some time sipping a glass of wine on their outdoor patio after our tasting, then played a game of checkers (though we had trouble remembering the rules). Their patio has music on the weekends, which we sadly missed since we stopped in on Monday afternoon. Right now, all of their grapes are imported, but before leaving, we took a stroll down to the vineyard where their grape vines are still babies. We were told they just started experimenting with their first batches from the vineyard so, I'm looking forward to a trip back here to see what their vineyard produces. If you're ever up in the Dells, be sure to make a detour for this great little place.

Thanks for reading!
