I've become more experimental than I used to be since I started this blog. Between pinterest, other blogs, and my effort to remix my wardrobe, color combinations I would have never tried before don't seem so scary anymore! This combo was inspired by Wendy, of Wendy's Lookbook. I know she's been a huge style influence for so many of us, and I couldn't get all of her deep purple and yellow outfits out of my head.

As for the weather around here, we had a mix of rain, sleet, and snow yesterday...yup, looks like we'll still be getting winter weather in Chicago for a while longer. And, I got home from work last night to my heater not working! After messing with it for an hour and a half, it looks like my dad will need to put his handy man skills to use once again and come to the rescue!  Hope everyone else is enjoying good weather while I'm bundled up in blankets trying to stay warm!! :)

Thanks for reading!
