Although the scarf and brooch are a bit of an older style, I love the color and sophistication they add. The high slouchly boots add a little youth to the outfit overall. You'll be seeing a lot more of these boots in the upcoming days (and weeks).  They are one of my oldest pairs and with the snow, rain, and sleet we have been having, they are the only ones I'm willing to expose to the salt.  Eventually salt spots just don't come off of leather, so I try to limit my shoe collection's exposure to the elements, with the hope of extending the life of my shoes.
