I had my eye on this sweater for a long time before I purchased it. The color combination was what initially caught my eye, but it was the style - sweater jacket with an attached belt and shawl collar - that made me check the BCBG sale rack every time I was in the store. Eventually, it was meant to be! This sweater has been perfect with jeans and flats on weekends but can hold its own at the office too. Versatile sweaters like this are the perfect addition to a Chicagoan's wardrobe!

On a different note, sorry for the sporadic posting. Since I started the new job a month ago, my work days have gotten a little longer. Trying to fit the gym, dinner, cleaning, and blogging into my nights, and still get sleep, has been a struggle. But, who needs sleep, right?! Before I ever decided to start this blog, I read a lot about what it takes to become a successful blogger (whatever successful really means in the blog world). I have an incredibly long way to go before my blog is where I want it to be. One thing that a lot of bloggers said that stuck with me was to not sweat it if you miss a day or two here or there, that this is supposed to be fun, and when you force yourself to do posts, it becomes something that isn't you. 

That being said, no matter how tired I am though, I somehow get a second (or third, or fourth) wind when I start prepping a post! How about you...what naturally motivates you?!
