Even though I've only recently embraced fall colors, I already miss summer weather! I never seem to get used to the cold Chicago winds. These photos were taken in late August when I was at my parents' for the weekend. The lemon sorbet creation (lemon sorbet, blueberry wine, fresh blueberries) was delicious and the perfect ending to a delicious grilled dinner! It makes a great presentation and is incredibly simple - I just couldn't resist. We used this blueberry wine which is delicious for dessert or perfect as a summer sipper!

Because I dress more conservative for work, I tend to gravitate toward more edgy, but basic, pieces for the weekends. This outfit was incredibly comfortable and simple, exactly what I look for on weekends!
