Nautical Weekend Wear

Two weekends ago David and I spent our Sunday with lunch al fresco followed by a walk along the lake and a few hours at a local coffee shop.  It was one of the first weekends all summer long that we weren't booked, so we took full advantage of an open day.  Since this dress is too short and casual to wear to work, and our Chicago summer had been in the 90's for quite some time, this 70 degree day was the perfect opportunity to make use of this great buy.  On a side note, the navy Kate Spade bag in these photos has been my favorite recent purchase.  Not only did I get it discounted from Gilt, it fits my camera perfectly and has room to spare for a wallet, bottle of water, sunglasses case, phone, keys, etc! 

Later this week I'm hoping to recap our Labor Day weekend getaway, so stay tuned for more weekend wear!
